Solution
Ultimately, the conflict started because of the difference in culture between the Chittagong Hill Tracts people and the Bangladeshi government such as language as the bengalis speak bengali and the people of the Chittagong Hill Tracts speak various different tribal languages. Both groups in the conflict demand opposing solutions thus, I propose that the Bangladeshi government and the United People's Party of the Chittagong Hill Tracts should make an equal agreement where the Bangladesh government still has power over the area but, the party has control similar to the federalism system. This allows for equal power distribution between the two groups so that the Bangladeshi government doesn't get too powerful over the people of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, satisfying the need for greater autonomy for the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the Chittagong Hill Tracts will have equal amount of political power in the region so that they still have a say in their own government but not giving too much power that the become completely separated from the state thus satisfying the goal of the Bangladeshi government to unify the state politically.
